Valley Forge Speaker Series Welcomes Oneida Historian for Indigenous History Event

Peaceful Autumn.

Historian Heather Bruegl will discuss her Indigenous heritage and its link to Valley Forge in a free lecture at Penn State Great Valley, part of the Valley Forge Park Alliance’s Speaker Series. Bruegl, a public historian and advocate for Indigenous rights, focuses her work on Indigenous history, the impact of colonization, and support for BIPOC cultural workers.

Jeffersonville Golf Club: A Modern Challenge with Timeless Design

Jeffersonville Golf Club honors the legacy of Donald Ross through careful restoration and maintenance led by Superintendent Rich Shilling. With a dedicated team, Shilling has preserved the course’s historic features, enhanced play conditions, and continually delights players with the quality and challenge of this semi-private gem in West Norriton.

Valley Forge Veterans Day Service to Celebrate Heroes with Special Guest Speakers

Washington Memorial Chapel will host a Veterans Day Service on Nov. 11 at 11:00 AM, featuring a Choral Matins service and stories from military nurses May Tiger and Carol Mellom. A reception will follow the free event, held in Valley Forge and open to the community with donations encouraged.
