Special Skill and Hobbies
She was nominated because:
Claire has been competitively racing quarter midgets for the last 3 years. She works incredibly hard to be the best at her sport, racing 2-3 days a week during the season, and putting in many hours of practive whenever she can. She is one of a handful of female racers in the area, and she has achieved man wins and a number of track records. She is an excellent role model for other female racers, and she always maintains a positive and encouraging attitude, even when races don’t go her way.
More about Claire: When not racing, Claire is also a member of the Philadelphia Girls Choir, and was selected to sing in The Nutcracker at the Kimmel Center this December. She plans to participate in Girls on the Run this year, and she has just started playing the viola in her school orchestra. In her free time, she enjoys sewing and fashion, as well as spending time with her family and pets (two cats, four chickens, a jumping spider, and lots of fish).

Open Road Tolling Arrives in January: Pennsylvania Turnpike Tackles Toll Evasion with Enhanced Enforcement
The Pennsylvania Turnpike is rolling out Open Road Tolling (ORT) in January, improving toll collection by enabling electronic tolling without stopping. To tackle uncollected tolls, or "leakage," the Turnpike established a Revenue Assurance Plan and a Lost Revenue Task Force, with new payment options and advanced enforcement methods. Legal actions and legislative measures support toll recovery efforts, and collaborations with other states aim to enforce toll compliance across state lines. The Turnpike’s initiatives have already recovered $26 million in unpaid tolls and continue to make tolling more efficient and sustainable.
