Men’s Journal Ranks Norristown’s Von C. Brewing Among Best Global Breweries
Von C. Brewing Co. in Norristown has been recognized by Men's Journal as one of the top breweries globally, ranking second on their list of lesser-known World Beer Cup winners. The brewery’s O.G. Pils, based on a family recipe, played a key role in earning this distinction for its clean, refreshing taste. The recognition reflects Von C.'s craftsmanship and celebrates its standing within the craft beer community.
King of Prussia Mall Welcomes New Shops and Restaurants for Holiday Shoppers
King of Prussia Mall is expanding with new shops and restaurants this holiday season, featuring recent openings like American Eagle and Turkish fashion brand Sayki. Dining additions, including Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar and Korean BBQ spot K-Pot, are also on the way. This wave of new arrivals aims to enhance the shopping and dining experience with a mix of global brands, activewear, sustainable fashion, and unique culinary options.
SEPTA Warns Riders of Possible Fare Increases, Drastic Service Cuts in 2024
Facing a $240 million budget shortfall, SEPTA has proposed fare increases and a 20% reduction in service for 2024. The transit agency blames the deficit on the exhaustion of COVID relief funds and state funding delays, with proposed fare hikes ranging from $0.40 to $2.25 per ride. Meanwhile, SEPTA remains in labor negotiations with its union as its CEO prepares to step down later this month. Public hearings on the proposals begin on December 13.
