Traffic Disruptions Expected in Upper Merion and Bridgeport During Bridge Inspections

PennDOT has scheduled bridge inspections from November 20-22, with lane closures across key highways in Philadelphia, Montgomery, and Delaware counties. Significant impacts are expected in Upper Merion Township, the Borough of Bridgeport, and the Borough of West Conshohocken, where inspections will affect U.S. 422, I-476, and I-76. These inspections, part of a regular safety evaluation program, may cause delays, and drivers are encouraged to plan accordingly.

Montgomery County to Host U.S. Open Qualifier at Union League Liberty Hill

Aerial View of a Golf Course

Three Pennsylvania golf courses, including Union League Liberty Hill in Montgomery County, will serve as local qualifying sites for the 124th U.S. Open Championship. The events, featuring an 18-hole format, will take place between April 22 and May 20. Successful players will proceed to the 36-hole final qualifying round.

Sixers Struggle Early in the Season, Drop to 2-10 After Loss to Magic

The Philadelphia 76ers have stumbled to a 2-10 start in the 2024-25 season, hindered by injuries and a lack of offensive cohesion. Joel Embiid’s return has been slow, and the team’s All-Star trio has yet to play together. Coach Nick Nurse and the players emphasize patience and hard work as they prepare to face the Miami Heat in hopes of turning their season around.
