Penn State to Face Oregon in Big Ten Championship After Crushing Maryland

College Football No GIF by ESPN

Penn State earned a spot in the Big Ten Championship after defeating Maryland 44-7 and benefitting from Michigan’s win over Ohio State. The Nittany Lions overcame an early deficit, scoring 38 unanswered points before halftime, with standout performances from Nick Singleton and record-setting tight end Tyler Warren. The victory likely secures Penn State a College Football Playoff berth regardless of the championship game result. Penn State faces undefeated Oregon on Dec. 7, aiming to clinch a first-round bye in the playoffs.
